Breeding new strains is very important. Try to provide effects that cater to the groups with higher price threshold, usually medical patients.
Example
At one building there is a group of Cancer Patients and Punks.
Punks like Skunk flavor, Carefree, Ultimate Trip
Cancer Patients like Sweet, Pain Relief,Anti Nausea,Peaceful Sleep.
The strain that will serve both groups effectively contains each effect, in the order;
Carefree,Pain Relief, Anti Nausea,Peaceful Sleep,Ultimate Trip.
Since Cancer Patients pay more, give the strain Sweet flavor.
Not many places have such perfect combinations. Therefore go for effects that have higher rating, or that are shared among all the groups in the place.
When you set a product for sale, its default price is that of the lowest price threshold of all the groups at the place.
The competition has unlimited sale slots, and product quantity. If you have no stock, their strength will increase. Try to time your growing to have a ready supply.
Characters who have Idealistic Integrity cannot be swayed by money or threats or friendly favors. You can get rid of Idealistic patrol cops by leaning on the police chief, but there is no way to get rid of politicians.
